Contact the Baguio Signup Desk
There is one editorial mailbox, editor@baguiosignupph.com, and it is for corrections, questions about what we wrote, and nothing else.
The one mailbox we read
All editorial mail goes to editor@baguiosignupph.com. That is the only address the desk publishes, and it is read by the people who write the pages. Please include the page address and, where relevant, the exact sentence you are writing about so we can find it quickly.
We do not promise a response time, because the desk is small and mail is answered in the order it arrives. A message that points to a specific error, a broken link, or a figure that no longer matches the broker's document is the most useful kind, and it moves to the front.
What makes a message answerable in one pass
A useful message contains one question, the page URL, the exact text or number you are asking about, and the source you are comparing it with. If the question is about a calculation, include the inputs you used: the instrument code (XAU/USD), the lot size, and the price. For example, if you are checking margin on a 0.10-lot gold position, say that you used the applicable cap and expected about $85.50. That lets us reproduce your steps.
A useful message also says what you already checked. If you looked at the FxPro platform list (MT4, MT5, cTrader, and the FxPro app) and still have a question, name the platform. If you are asking about funding, say whether you are comparing GCash with bank transfer, but do not send account numbers. The goal is to let a person who did not see your screen understand the problem without a back-and-forth.
Finally, a useful message says what kind of answer you need: a correction, a clarification, or a pointer to the right place. That tells us whether to verify a fact or to explain a concept. It also tells us when the question is outside what we can answer, such as a request for personal trading advice. A short, specific message is more useful than a long one that covers five unrelated topics.
How a correction request is checked, prioritised, and answered
A correction request is checked against the source you provide and against the facts we are allowed to state. If you say a number is wrong, we look for the number on the page, then compare it with the source. For gold (XAU/USD), that means checking the instrument code, the lot size of 100 oz, the pip of 0.01, and any reference price such as ≈ 4275.0. We do not change a figure because a reader prefers a different one; we change it when the source shows it is wrong.
Correction requests are prioritised by whether the error could cost a reader money or mislead them about risk. A wrong margin example, a wrong leverage statement, or a missing regulator caveat goes to the front. A typo or a broken link is handled after those. We keep a record of what was changed and when, and we do not silently edit a page and pretend the old version never existed.
You will get a reply that says either that the page was corrected, that the page was already correct and why, or that we could not verify the claim and what we would need to verify it. We do not argue about sources in a long thread. If your source is a page we cannot access, we will say so. The reply is written so you can see the reasoning, not just the outcome.
Questions we can answer and questions that require a licensed adviser
We can answer questions about what a page says, how a formula works, and where a stated fact comes from. We can confirm the instrument specifications we publish for gold (XAU/USD): 1 standard lot = 100 oz, pip = 0.01, and the reference price ≈ 4275.0. We can explain the margin figure we show, such as a 0.10-lot position needing about $85.50 at the applicable cap. We can also point you to the regulator caveat that applies to the Philippines.
We cannot answer whether you should buy or sell gold, how much of your savings to allocate, or what leverage setting is right for you. Those are personal trading advice questions, and answering them would require knowing your finances, your risk tolerance, and your goals. We do not collect that information and we are not licensed to advise on it. A general explanation of how margin works is not the same as a recommendation for your account.
We also cannot interpret your broker statement, calculate your tax owed, or tell you whether a specific trade was executed correctly. Those questions belong with your broker or a licensed professional in the Philippines. If your question is about FxPro account access or funding, we can tell you that FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC, not by the SEC of the Philippines, but we cannot act on your account. We will say plainly when a question is outside what we can answer.
The response window we aim for and what affects it
We aim to reply within three to five business days for most messages. That window starts when your message reaches the mailbox we read, not when you send it from a form. Messages that arrive on a Philippine public holiday or over a weekend begin on the next business day. We do not promise an instant reply, and we do not use an auto-responder that pretends a human has read your note.
A message that includes the page URL, the exact text in question, and your source is usually answered faster because we can verify it in one pass. A message that asks us to guess what you mean, or that omits the instrument and the numbers, may need a follow-up before we can start. The response time depends on how complete the first message is, not on how many messages you send.
Correction requests that affect a stated fact, a formula, or a risk warning are looked at before general questions. That is a prioritisation choice, not a promise of a faster clock. If a correction is urgent because a page could mislead someone about margin or leverage, say so in the first line and include the URL. We will still verify before changing anything, and we will tell you what we found.
No guest posts, no sponsored reviews, no paid placement
The desk does not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews, link insertions, or paid placement at any price. Every page is written in-house and paid for only by affiliate links, so there is no rate card for a mention, a ranking, or a favourable sentence. An offer to pay for coverage will be declined without negotiation.
This is not a moral position so much as a practical one: a page that can be bought is worth nothing to a reader deciding where to put real money. If you represent a broker, the useful thing you can send is a current specification document, not a proposal.
Requests we cannot handle and the right place for account, fund, and advice issues
We cannot access your FxPro account, reset your password, release a withdrawal, or recover funds. Those actions belong with FxPro, the broker that holds the account. We also cannot tell you why a GCash or bank transfer has not arrived; that depends on the payment rail and the broker's funding process. If you send us account details, we will not use them and we will ask you to contact FxPro directly through its official channels.
We cannot give personal trading advice, and we cannot tell you whether to use the maximum leverage available to you. The cap that applies to the entity serving the Philippines is a cap, not a target. We can explain that a 0.10-lot gold position needs about $85.50 margin at that cap, but we cannot say whether that position size is suitable for you. Suitability depends on your finances and your risk tolerance, which we do not assess.
We also cannot act as a regulator or a dispute service. FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC, not by the SEC of the Philippines. If your issue is a complaint about a broker's conduct, the right first step is the broker's own complaints process, and then the relevant regulator named in your agreement. We can point you to that caveat, but we cannot escalate a case on your behalf or comment on a specific account.
What to include in a message about a factual error, a chart reading, or a tool question
For a factual error, send the exact sentence or number as it appears on the page, the URL where you found it, and the source you believe is correct. If the issue involves a price or a calculation, include the reference price you used and the date. For gold (XAU/USD), state whether you are using 1 standard lot = 100 oz and pip = 0.01 so we can reproduce the arithmetic. A screenshot helps only if it shows the full page context, not a cropped fragment.
For a chart reading, tell us the instrument code (XAU/USD), the timeframe, and the exact price level you are asking about. If you are comparing two sessions, give both timestamps in Philippine time. We do not need your account balance or your position size, and you should not send them. What we need is the data point that looks wrong or unclear, plus the page section where you found it, so we can check the same source.
For a tool question, name the tool and the input you entered. If the tool uses the reference price ≈ 4275.0, say whether you changed it. If you are asking about margin, state the lot size you used; for example, a 0.10-lot gold position at the applicable cap needs about $85.50 margin. Do not send your GCash number, bank account details, or any password. Those are never needed to answer a question about how a page or a calculator works.
What we will help with, and what we will not
We will help with questions about our own writing: what a term means, why a page says a particular thing, or where a figure came from. We will also take a correction and, if it is right, fix it in place with a dated note. That is the whole scope of the mailbox, and it is deliberately narrow.
We will not help with account problems, deposits, withdrawals, verification, or fund recovery. We are not the broker, we cannot see your account, and we cannot instruct a broker to release money. We also do not give personal advice on whether to buy or sell gold, how much to risk, or which position to take. Those questions belong with the broker or a licensed adviser.
Size the trade first, then place it
FxPro gives Philippine traders MT4, MT5, cTrader and the FxPro app for XAU/USD, with funding through GCash or bank transfer. The calculators on this site are built to be used before the order ticket, not after.
